Friendly local, the current building dates from 1885 but a pub was known to be here as early as 1561. With a separate bar and snug, the handpumps are located in the lounge. Outside is a walled garden/Patio area with a covered area where beer festivals are held. Excellent home-cooked meals are served. Jazz night Thursday, Bingo Tuesday afternoon, Karaoke first Saturday of the month, Quiz nights once a month.
